About the programme
From the computer generated galaxies of Bret Battey’s Mercurius, a continual transformation of one synthesised process, and the more organic, film-based work of Joanna Vaude (Exploration), this programme (originally screened as part of the selection for AURORA 2007) looks at altered landscapes, puzzles and abstract otherworlds, leading to the amazing found-footage piece Radar (Volker Schreiner) and the altogether more opaque and mysterious environment of Sylvia Schedelbauer’s remarkable Falsche Freunde.
