Time and Space Revealed

A selection of work which reveals the invisible: the passage of time, the structure of space. Many of the films are formal experiments, particularly Sarah Pucill’s Blind Light, a performance by light itself controlled by the double apertures of window blind and camera iris.

Norwich-based artist Roger Hewins' remarkable new work A Description of the World – After Daguerre is, similarly, a meditation on the passing of time, but perhaps also a warning about creeping homogeneity.
Conversely, both Trace (Yin-Ling Chen) and Current Shot 01 (Philippe Gerlach & Stefan Kushima) focus on the limits of perception and our ability to sense time passing.
